Responsible Gambling

Keep play in balance

Gambling should be leisure, not a way to earn money. Set a spending level you can afford, avoid chasing losses, and keep track of both time and money. If play begins to affect your finances, health, work or relationships, take a break and seek support.

Limits and reality checks

Casino Heroes offers deposit, wagering and loss limits, together with reality checks. You can set limits for 24 hours, one week or one month from your account. A lower deposit limit takes effect immediately. If you increase it, the change begins after 24 hours.

These controls can help you decide your boundaries before playing and make it easier to review your activity while you play. Support can help if you need more information about how they work.

Time-outs and account closure

A time-out can last one day or one week. You may also choose one month, while a six-week time-out is available by contacting [email protected]. When the selected time-out ends, the account can reopen automatically.

If you want a general break that is not connected to a gambling problem, you may ask us to close or freeze your account. A standard closure can be reopened on request, and we may ask why you wish to return before we activate it.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is intended for anyone who feels they are losing control. You can activate it while signed in or by contacting [email protected]. The available period is 6 to 12 months, and you may extend it for longer periods through support.

Before activation, we provide information about what self-exclusion means. Unsettled bets continue through their normal settlement process, and any resulting winnings are paid where applicable. If you ask to reopen early, a seven-day cool-off applies. We may review the request and can refuse to reopen the account.

Do not create another Casino Heroes account while self-excluded. Only one account is permitted per person, and a new account during exclusion is prohibited. We also encourage you to consider excluding yourself from any other gambling services you use.

Blocking access at home

Filtering software can block access to gambling services on a device. Parental controls can also restrict internet access using criteria chosen by a parent or guardian. Consider these tools when a computer or device is shared with children or with someone who has chosen self-exclusion.

Independent support

You do not have to handle gambling concerns alone. These organisations offer information, peer support or counselling:

  • GambleAware supports education, prevention and treatment for gambling-related harm.
  • Gamblers Anonymous brings together people affected by compulsive gambling so they can support one another.
  • Gambling Therapy provides counselling and support in the UK and internationally. Its helpline is 01384 241292.

You can also contact [email protected] when you want help applying Casino Heroes limits, a time-out, account closure or self-exclusion.
